Mobile Satellite Users Association Announces Newly Elected
2025 Board of Directors

The MSUA, a 30-year-old not-for-profit association, shares election results for the leaders that will represent millions of satellite solutions users worldwide.
January 27, 2025 – McLean, VA – The Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA), a global not-for-profit focused on amplifying the voice of users of satellite solutions for mobile communication, navigation, and safety and industry innovators, is pleased to unveil its member-appointed 2025 board of directors that took office on January 1, 2025.
“Congratulations to our re-elected and newly elected 2025 board members. Our 2025 board members bring extensive expertise in the satellite and space industries to their posts. The board will play a crucial role in guiding the organization's mission to advocate for the advancement of satellite mobile solutions for delivering humanitarian aid, emergency communications in crises and conflict zones, enterprise connectivity, global IoT solutions, and personal sat-cell connections," said MSUA President Roger Lanctot. "I hereby thank our voting members for their thoughtful review of all the candidates for the 2025 board. I am privileged to join forces with this outstanding team of professionals to continue MSUA's remarkable advancement in 2025.”
New to the board for 2025 is Scott Congdon, who is responsible for market development and partnership management for Intelsat. Since joining Intelsat in 2016, Congdon drives land mobile business and market development activities worldwide, including strategic planning, establishing strategic and technology partnerships, and building a robust service and terminal portfolio.

In addition to announcing the 2025 board of directors, MSUA announced that nominations and sponsorships are now open for the 2025 Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards. Nominations for the awards program close on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:59pm East.
The annual Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. This annual awards program recognizes the leading satellite mobile innovations from across the industry and around the world.
